In early 2020 Michael joined the team at Schirmer Law. Michael Simpson is a civil litigation associate attorney and he primarily handles property insurance matters. His experience, and success, in various fields of law, give him a unique ability to assist his clients and approach each issue with an open mind.
Originally from Washington State, Michael graduated from Western Washington University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts. Michael moved to South Florida to attend law school in 2011. In 2014, after graduating Magna Cum Laude at St. Thomas University School of Law, Michael relocated back to his hometown of Yakima, WA, and began practicing law. During his time in Washington Michael focused his practice in the areas of Immigration law and Criminal defense. Michael successfully represented individuals in front of Immigration and Criminal courts across Washington State. In 2019, Michael and his wife decided to relocate back to Florida to be closer to family and continue his practice under the sun.
When not practicing law, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, reading, enjoying the great outdoors, and playing golf.
